SNOOP DOGG: TOP DOGG

Snoop Dogg has finally left Death Row and this is his second album on No Limit.  His last album
was more of a Master P album, because Master P did pretty much what he wanted to do with Snoop Dogg.
Now, his brand new album “Top Dogg,”  is more of a Snoop Dogg album.  He has done whatever he wants
and it came out pretty good.  This album reminds many of the fans about his debut album “Doggystyle.”
Snoop Dogg said that he should have named this album “Doggystyle.”  Many fans wonder why the
“Doggy” part of his name is no longer used.  Snoop Dogg says that he is more mature now and he feels that
he wants people to see a more mature and wiser Snoop.   Maybe this album will prove fans that Snoop
Dogg hasn't changed in No Limit and that he sounds the same. Many have believed that he sounded better
in Death Row.

The album starts with a funky and hip track called “Buck ‘em.”  One of the best tracks on the
album is “Trust me.”  It has a R&B feel to it and it's pretty hip.  “My heart goes boom,” is also one of the
best tracks on the album and a pretty funky, but hip one.  Then there is a very amazing track called
“Gangsta Ride.”  It has a smooth, but hip flow to it and it's one of the best tracks on the album.  “Jus
dippin,” is one of those amazing but hip tracks.  “Don't tell,” is nothing but a pretty funky track.  The
album has many more amazing tracks.  It also features artists like Mia X, Dr. Dre, Warren G, Silkk the
shocker, C-murder, Mystikal, and many more.
Is this album worth?  Definitely if you are a fan or if you like Rap.  The album has a lot to offer
and the thing is that if you liked “Doggystyle” you might just like this one too.
