THE CRANBERRIES: BURY THE HATCHET Their success started with 1993's "Linger" and it kept going. In 2 of their albums they talk about huge issues. On their second album there was the song "Zombie" and on their third album there was the song "Salvation."
Their fourth and latest album "Bury the hatchet," has many pop songs including the amazing song "Animal Instinct," the sad song that seems to sound like one of their old hits "You and Me," "Saving Grace" and "Shattered." Singer Dolores O'Riordan sings more clearly and she seems more emotional, yet sometimes songs contain silly lyrics like the song "Loud and Clear." "Just my imagination" is a very hip track that seems to be one of the best on the album. "Copycat" sound a lot like their old hit "Salvation." On "Promises" Dolores seems very emotional and the song is sad and touching. Other amazing tracks on the album are "Desperate Andy," "Delilah," and more.. The cranberries have never sounded so good and have never really rocked as good as in this album. Although there are those little pop songs, the album is really good. The pop songs are pretty good. If you are a fan you have to have their best album ever. If you are not a fan give them a try. Review by Roberto Carlos Martinez
