Polyester Bride [withdrawn]

Format: 7" / CD5
Label: Matador Records OLE-204 / Capitol Records [matrix number unknown]
Country: USA
Release Date: 1998 [cancelled / never released]
Length: 10:08
Notes: This single was planned for release to promote whitechocolatespaceegg. Originally, "Johnny Feelgood" was Matador's initial choice for the first single, but Capitol opted for "Polyester Bride". The single, originally scheduled to be released approximately a month before the album while Liz promoted the song on talk shows, was delayed until a promotional video was filmed. By the time the promotional video was filmed, the song had worn out its welcome on the radio airwaves. As a result, the single was cancelled. However, a jukebox 7" vinyl of the single did see the light of day, and the single was released as planned in Japan.
