A Complete Mystery

Finally, a new Sarah bootleg! This is a double CD bootleg of the Surfacing tour, just as I predicted would come along sooner or later. The complete mystery, to me, is where in the hell were was this person sitting when they recorded this for all of us to hear! Aside from being an audience recording and done on CDR with cheesy stickers, it's not that bad. As audience recordings go, it's not as bad as Pressed Up Against the Glass! At least tolerable until Mirrorball comes out. The only other thing worth noting about the recording is that theres a skip at the end of Fear, and several skips on Elsewhere. The venue info says it was a 10-27-97 performance, which makes sense because I saw her 11-2-97 at the Fox in Detroit. When I saw her at the Fox, I wrote down the setlist after the concert, and there almost identical. The only differnce is she played Steaming instead of Vox and she played one extra track, I Love You. Last Dance is recorded before Building a Mystery, but it is not noted. The last four songs are encores, the same ones she played in Detroit. The inlays are obviously computer generated and printed on single side glossy paper. You may recognize the photo on the back from the Border Songs cover. The inlay photo I've never seen before, judging by her longer hair, I'd say it's quite recent. The record label this is on calls itself Massive Attack Discs, so if anyone knows anything about it, email me. In conclusion, I'd say this disc is for any hardcore Sarah fan who wants the Surfacing tour on disc and doesn't want to wait for mirrorball, and has the 50$ or so to buy this one.
