Magical mystery tour

It's the sound track of the TV film "Magical mystery tour". Although it contains just six songs appeared in the film. "Strawberry field forever" and "Penny Lane" were oringinal recorded in "Sgt.Pepper". However it came out in this album.

John's "I am the walrus". Great!! My all-time favourite!! It's cool...(John later said that this song carry political meaning...walrus's meaning came from a poet , although i don't understand..)

It also contains some good songs. "The fool on the hill", "All you need is love", "Strawberry field forever", "Penny Lane".

"Hello goodbye".This track, I hate it!!!

Here are the info of the songs

The fool on the hill

Great Paul Mccartney ballad! It was the last song written and recorded for this LP. Three flautists add their distinctive touch to the final recording.

Blue jay way

Written by George. He wrote this song in Los Angeles, waiting for a friend to visit him. Backwards tapes, artificial double tracking, cello overdub appear in it.

I am the walrus

Very best of John Lennon! Superb Lennon vocal, interesting lyrics, violins, cellos, bass clarinet, horns. 16 specially hired vocalists sang "hee hee hee, ha ha ha". Inspiration from.....i also want to know...

Strawberry fields forever

Great Lennon song, remembering a Salvation Army home, Strawberry field in Liverpool. It carrys deep meaning lyrics. Brilliant!

"Living is easy with eye closed, misunderstanding all you see." Do you agree?

All you need is love

Beatles' anthem for love. Featured in the world's first TV satellite link up. The Beatles were invited by BBC. John wrote this song especially for this. The Beatles and some musicians surrounded by friends and relatives, just like a party. By estimation, there were 400 million people watching it via satellite link up.
