Here are some of the poems that my friends have written!
Burn a cigarette in my mind
Waste a little time
And think of you
Someone knocking at my door
Should I answer or wait for you some more?
Falling farther from the world
Do another line
Think I'm feeling fine
Got a little time to kill
Shadows closing in
Afraid of where I am
Just want to hold your hand
Don't want this feeling to end
Bleeding heart and I lose control
Let it rain, numb the pain
Sear another vein
Then maybe I'll feel whole
Hearing voices in my head
I think I'm crazy
Maybe I'm just brain dead

Moments love in silence still
Memories fall like unwanted tears
Stars that part the night in ceaseless stare
I'm here but you're not there
Rain like a thousand kisses
From the sea to cool a soul
Breathless within the moment
Then letting go
Summer springs the flowers beauty
But seasons end
Withering in purest cruelty
Soft and golden and left to shine
Forever in this heart of mine
Memories kept
Shaddered
But still inspired
Slowly age to sweeter times
She is beauty in its purest form
And love is the memory which lights my soul
To keep it warm
Shadows that slowly wake inside
Opening once closed eyes
love lingers here

She is beauty longed evermore
By those who have lost and loved before
Night begins to fall
Calling voices like a haunted wind
Wondering if tomorrow
The heart will ever love again
She is gone and summer sets
Giving birth to new regrets
Till at last the shadows fade
Bringing forth Horizons end
Further down the road journeys waylaid
The past is everything I am today
Keeping forward in moments gone by
Never ending till I die

The shadows of my tears
Words like fire burn the pages
And never dull through the years
Time is remembered in moments lost
Of seasons sweet and candle light
That still warms the heart
Simple minds and simple pleasures
They never end though I've left her
Words are soft when whispered to the mind
And never face when we die

Life around me shows me death
Deep inside I've failed a test
There's an ember it's burning still
It's burn slow, through death it will
Death, Stagnation, deep in my soul
Recovering still can't be my goal
In dying I've achieved normality
Now I'm there, I still want to flee
I stand my ground, hands on a sword
Always outnumbered, death still more
A sadness that I just can't die
In doing so, I'd be making life

Fire burning in my blood
Burns hotter than the sun
Rage under the hood
Am I the only one?
Waiting for the end
Nothing close in sight
Listen close my friend
It's time to stand and fight!
My tortured, lonely soul
With power I don't need
Fighting for no goal
Who's tending to this seed?
Peace on the surface
A raging beast within
Gotta hold a steady pace
In this fight I'll never win

Look at what you've done
Look what you've created
We're the wretched of the land
Our minds are dead, our souls ablaze
We fought, and we lost
OUr fathers our oppresors
The name of the almighty dollar
Was used to rape our minds
I hate my father, I hate this world
Nothings left for me except
The burnt out husk that you called home
