| For two days I've tried and tried to think of something |
| to write here about Xorcist. I have been completely, |
| totally unsuccessful. Trying to describe a sound when |
| you've never heard anything to compare it to... well, it's
|
| kind of hard. Xorcist is about the most unique group |
| I've heard in a long long time. Xorcist founder "Bat" is |
| a very original thinker, both in his music and his art. |
| |
| Think of a goth band, mixed with a techno group, |
| mixed with some industrial sound, and think of that |
| being able to be played at a dance club, metal concert, or
on your desktop as you throw in your |
| favorite gore filled death fest video game, and you have some
sort of idea what Xorcist is all about. |
| |
| Xorcist has been around longer than most of the other groups
on this site. Getting his start in the mid 80's, |
| Bat has racked up a number of cd's, and has had his work on
many compilations, video games and other |
| such media. The list of singles, compilations and other work
is too long to put here, but you can find a lot |
| of those at CyberDen, and listen to some more of Xorcist's
songs or check out some of their side projects. |
