razor-sharp wit, infectious melodic sensibility and heavy riffs combine to make teeth's debut a biting success. it aptly starts with tugtugan na, with cranked up guitars and ferocious drumbeats. and just when you think things couldn't get any angrier and fiercer, angst-ridden galit sa mundo follows, bringing more head- banging pleasure. stokwa comes in next with a clear anti-slacker message to genXers, to be trailed by the centerpiece gem me - the catchiest track in the album. it gets bass-snakey in gubat, where teeth creates a jungle of beautiful sounds. the heavy and anthemic laklak is up next, while the guys display a wicked sense of humor in falling apart. the engaging prinsesa is followed by the fishy, underwater trippings of t.n.t..and finally, chicaron is laced with furious yet funny lyrics drenched in fatty grunge fuzz.

one look at the cover and you'll have an idea of what's in store in this album - an exciting, fun-filled, gravity-defying, and extreme experience. kicking off with BMX, it is clear that this album will be one hell of a ride, one full of wonderfully crafted riffs and infectious melodic sensibilities. while still in the air, the dreamy shooting star aims to make your wishes come true. making sure there's enough fuel for the ride, unleaded provides the right juices to fill us up. now properly gassed, it's now time to make things wild, furious and fast with hyperkinesis. suddenly, the brakes hit hard and things go from wild to smooth with the soft, poppy melodies of sorry. the trip gets a bit weary in the middle of the ride with the somewhat tired but beautiful road bends, where the bass suddenly makes itself be heard. for the next three tracks, it's a tug of war in pacing. first, the raimund marasigan-penned puwing speeds it up a bit with excellent rockability, only to be stopped on its track by the one-minute-a-head-swaying-the-next-minute-a-chaotic tune in we are the same, a product of bassist andrew. and once again, it's another wild and wooly time with guitarist jerome's head on, where he also takes the vocal duties. sadly, all things come to an end. but to make this trip very worthwhile, darating lets its mushy and love sick melodies make you want to fly and feel good, and then makes you take this trip again...
