a map of the paths of the many tornadoes that touched down on may 3this shot of the torndado that went through moore and okc was taken from my friend's car. we were only a few miles southwest of moore, and about three miles from the tornado itself.another shot of the same tornado a few minutes later as it is close to crossing I-44 toward moore

just a note... i grew up in one of the neighborhoods that was demolished by the tornado in these pictures, and i was out chasing these things on may 3, so i've seen firsthand what they can do. it means a lot to me that bte was willing to donate $3 out of every ticket sold to the tornado recovery fund. can these guys get any cooler? :)
