If anyone still remembers this song it was a big hit a few years ago,
it was also used in the Matrix. This is just the arpeggio part, itīs
played on piano in the original song but Iīve arranged it for guitar,
I think it sounds pretty good, but itīs kinda hard to play in some
places. I think itīs actually in Gm on the CD but thatīs a horrible
key to play in so I changed it to Am. Clubbed to Death sampled this
from a classical song, I donīt know the exact name but itīs from the
Enigma variations by Elgar.
Some strange chords here, some of those arenīt real chords, I just
made them up to show you the finger positions itīs best to play in.
Some of the chords are kinda hard, here are some explanations on
how I play them.
C* = Played like an Am but add your pinky on the 3rd fret of the A
string.
F = This is like a barred C-chord, I use my index finger to barre
on the fifth fret, then pinky on 8th fret A string, ring finger
on 7th fret D string and middle finger on 6th fret B string.
C#* = This is definitely the hardest part of the song to play. I play
this chord by using my ring finger on the 4th fret of the A
string. I use my index finger to barre the 2nd fret of the G
and B string and the pinky on the 5th fret on the high E string.
Then just take off the pinky when you have to play the open E string.
