SONG TITLE: Learn To Fly
ARTIST/GROUP: Foo Fighters
ALBUM: There Is Nothing Left To Lose
TRANSCRIBED BY: qualitytabs@qualitytabs.tk

CHORDS:
-------
EADGBE EADGBE
B* (x24400) G (320033)
F#m* (244200) A (x02220)
E (022100) D (xx0232)
Bsus2 (x24422)
Great song. The one chord I'm having a bit of trouble with is F#m*.
You have to use your thumb on the low E string to be able to play it.
Or you can play it like this (x44200), but then you don't hear the
bassnote. I'm sure that this is the right chord for the verses but
some people think that in the chorus you should play it like
this (244x00) or maybe even this (244400). I use this one (244200)
coz I think it sounds the best but try them out and see which one you
think sounds right.
These 2 riffs below are used in the intro and chorus. They're really
the same riff with one minor variation. I don't wanna bother to
write exactly where to play each one, it doesn't matter that much
anyway, so I've just written 'play with RIFFS 1 & 2' next to the
choruses.
RIFF 1:

x = muted note
b = bend note up
r = release bend
/ = slide up
\ = slide down
INTRO: [with RIFFS 1 & 2]
------
B* F#m* E
B* F#m* E
You should play the chords in the verses something like this:
Bsus2 F#m* E
E|--------2-----------0-----------0------------0----|
B|--------2-----------0-----------0------------0----|
G|----4---4-------2---2-------1---1--------1---1----|
D|----4-4---------4-----------2---2--------2---2----|
A|--2---2-------4---4-------2---2--------2---2------|
E|--------------2---2-------0---0--------0---0------|
d u d u d u d u d u d u d u d u
d = downstroke u = upstroke
This really doesn't have to be exact, but something like this. Just
remember to end each chord with an upstroke on the high strings.
Listen to the song to hear what I mean.
