dear damon
August 2004
Hope you're chillin' out as I write this, d. The Neighborhood gig seems to have gone off well. You must be doing the same thing that I had been these past few weeks-recharging those batteries before the frenzied Fall comes along. Way up with the sometime idyllic life of the artist and freelancer.
I had recently been soaking up some music, stand-up comedy and music-themed movie DVDs and feelin' pretty groovy getting my groove on. Nothing like some British music, witty gutter humour and music industry impresarios/fans/groupies to put things in perspective. As batteries are still in recharging mode, have not much else to ruminate upon, but will catch up with you in September again.
Hang loose, goose,
frances
