Wa-hoo! This month's the month, and I'm gonna feel all right...(to paraphrase Rod Stewart). Am I up for it? You bet your bottom dollar, I am! It's the month of my arrival into this time and space in which we live- my birthday, and I'm gonna be there on July 22nd, the exact date of my birth, for blur's gig at The Point in Dublin! Wa-hoo indeed. It'll be great 'cause it'll be my first time in Ireland and I plan to run around Dublin for the two days that I'll be there. Am counting the days,the hours, the minutes, the seconds, the nanoseconds etc etc... until July 20th, which is the departure date.
It seems that you've been having a ball at the festivals in Europe! It's wonderful to hear news from fellow blur fanatics who tell us that you've been playing a variety of songs from your earlier CDs. Looking forward to hearing what you'll play and sing at the Dublin gig. "This is a Low" is a personal favorite, but I'd love to hear just about anything you'll dish out...not hard to please, no siree...
Wanted to go to the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan because I've yet to catch you in Japan, but will be in Helsinki instead for work (that's where I'll be heading for the day after your Dublin gig). I know that they're waiting for you with bated breath over there, so have fun and enjoy some good sushi, okay? See you in Dublin, damon!
