Good 'ole Lee Perry was in good spirits when I saw him late last month, d. His words about how music chose him was very moving. When I heard him say that I thought about how music must have chosen you, too, and how you must feel knowing that you're one of the chosen ones. I've thought also about how we each have a mission in this life and to be able to discover it early enough to be able to throw ourselves into it wholeheartedly is indeed one of the greatest joys of living.
Looking forward to seeing the Gorillaz Live at the Apollo program this month as well as The Essentials: Gorillaz program. Hope all is well with you.
