Did a blur song ever remind you of another song?

I've finally laid my finger on it! It has bugged me for quite a while now, and I now have the answer, Eureka! I was listening to WHFS recently and heard the introduction to Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" and thought, this is "Inertia!" Chris Cornell, who has now gone solo, has a new single that sounds Beatle-ly (kinda "Norwegian Wood"-ish?) I'll bet ya that he had heard blur's music (might even really like their music) and pinched the intro to "Inertia" to use for Soundgarden's 1994 hit. Then again, it might all be a coincidence. Who knows?
