What a romantic damon albarn is! Wouldn't it be great to someday hear his rendition of "Always On My Mind?" The song has been sung so soulfully by such artists as Elvis, Willie Nelson and the Pet Shop Boys, to name a few. This song shares the same spirit as "Tender," and damon's answer to the above question almost makes you wonder if "Always On My Mind" was one of the things that subconsciously influenced him to write "Tender." That would make "Tender" not only a spiritual, but a country song. What other jewels will we get to unearth as far as "Tender" is concerned?
