Doubts, Tears & FearsYou say you'd go anywhere for me;
But you're always too far to see.
You come for a day;
But leave right away.
I know it's impossible to expect you to stay;
Yet, I wish on a star that some day you may.
You've got bigger plans, bigger places to go;
To be as bright as a star, always stopping to glow.
So you rush away too soon;
And my dream ends before the rise of the moon.
Stop me now if you don't want me to share;
But sometimes it seems like you don't even care.
Like a flash of lightning you come and go;
Without stopping for a simple hug and hello.
Each day my love for you grow ever so;
More than you will even know.
I'm living in a dream of false thoughts;
With ever so many mind cloughts.
I pray and pray for that day to come;
When you'll see my face and maybe then some.
If I go on like this;
My heart will shatter, along with my foolish bliss.
Leaving behind way too many dreams;
Without any sense of reality or those silly little schemes.
Or is my love unrequited?
With your love never to be sighted?
I've now come to a cross-road;
Of sticking with it, or changing to another mode.
If I give up on you;
Where will my heart go? Please tell me if you have a clue.
Yet, if I stick with you, I risk more pain;
This is killing me, I think I'm going insane.
So before you leave without a mention;
Please remember to wave into my direction.
Then I'll know my dreams would end up true;
Without only hopes of meeting you.
Then I'll know love is endless;
And doesn't always end up in a total mess.

The Wish
I wish that I could meet the Backstreet boys,
So I could tell them thank you,
And tell them how much they mean to me.
They are the wind beneath my wings,
My angels, whenever I am down or blue.
I just put on their CD, listen to the lyrics closely,
And I close my eyes and fall asleep.
They have made me realize just because I have cancer,
I can go for my dreams and go for the goal I have set.
And when ever I watch the boys on video my eyes light up,
When I see them on talking on TV.
They never gave up on their dreams,
So I shouldn’t give up on mine.
What my dreams are now is to meet the boys,
and tell them how much they mean to me.
To tell Kevin that he means so much to me.
So thank you, Brian, Nick, AJ, Howie and especially you Kevin,
For letting me believe in myself again.
