1995

• The BSB sign with Jive.
  
• The BSB record in Sweden with Denniz PoP.
  
• Summer: "We've Got it Goin' On" is released in the US and Europe.
  
• Fall: The single hits Germany, Canada, and Europe.
  
• The BSB tour Europe for the first time.
  

1996

• Voted 'Best Newcomers' at the Smash Hits Awards.
  
• They make a music video for "Get Down."
  
• "Get Down" is released and is a hit in Canada and Europe.
  
• The BSB begin a 35 city European Tour.
  
• They make videos for "INBYH" and "Quit Playing Games ."
  
• September/October: The "Backtreet Boys" Cd is released in Europe, Canada, and Aisa. It goes Gold/Platinum in over 30 countries.
  
• "Anywhere for You" is issued as a single in Aisa.
  
• November: "INBYH" is released as a European single and goes Gold. They were voted the 'Most Popular Band' in Europe at the MTV European Music Awards.
  
• December : The BSB receive the 'MTV Select Award' in Europe.
  

1997

• January: "Quit Playing Games" is released.
  
• The BSB tour Canada.
  
• February: "Anywhere for You" released as a single in Europe.
  
• May: The BSB tour Europe, culminating in a sold-out show at England's *Wembly Arena.*
  
• June 27: "Quit Playing Games" is released in the US as a single.
  
• July: The single enters the Billboard Hot 100 at #24; it will rise to #2.
  
• "Everybody" is released in Canada, Aisa and Europe.
  
• The song enters the charts in the Top 10 in 10 countries.
  
• August: "Backstreet's Back" is released everywhere but the US. The "Backstreet Boys" Cd is released in the US.
  
• September 18: The BSB undertake their first US tour, with only 8 dates.
  
• October: The BSB go on a European tour.
  
• December: They begin their Canadian tour, selling out the Skydome in Toronto, Ontario.
  
• Won 5 awards at the Smash Hits Awards: 'Best Album' and 'Best Album Cover' for "Backstreet's Back," 'Best Video' for "Everybody," 'Best International Band', and 'Best Male Haircut' for Nick.
  

1998

• January: They tape a concert at Much Music in Toronto, Canada.
  
• They finish their Canadian tour and begin the US dates.
  
• February: The BSB appear on shows like - "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "MTV, Live.", "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch."
• They conclude their American tour on the 21st in Orlando.
  
• March 15: The BSB help out the Central Florida Tornado victims.
  
• March 17: The BSB begin their European tour in Dublin, Ireland.
  
• March 28: They record "Viva Unplugged" in Germany.
  
• April 15: The Backstreet Boys conclude their European tour in Portugal.
  
• April: They appear at "Magic Kingdom Grad Nights" in, Orlando Florida.
  
• July 8: They kick off their world tour in Charlotte, North Carolina.
  
• September: They won their first VMA in the States.
  
• They win 2 Billboard awards.
  
• December 20: They wrap up their world tour in Koln, Germany.
  

1999

• The BSB get new management.
  
• The BSB release "IWITW" as a new single off of their new album.
  
• "Millennium" is released May 18.
  
• The BSB record a TV special for the Disnet Channel.
  
• The BSB sell out all of their North American tour dates in 1 hour.
  
• August: They shoot a video for the upcoming single, "Larger Than Life", and begin their North American Tour.

2000

• January: Premiere of the SMTMOBL music video.
  
• Win the AMA for Best Group.
  
• February: Perform at the Grammy's.
