Intro Enter Sandman Creeping Death Harvester of Sorrow Wherever I May Roam The Four Horsemen Jason's solo Through the Never The Unforgiven Eye of the Beholder / Blackened / Frayed Ends of Sanity / And Justice for All / Blackened Lar's Solo (heavily cut) Mistreated Kirk's solo For Whom the Bell Tolls Fade to Black Whiplash Master of Puppets Seek and Destroy One Last Caress Am I Evil? Battery Breadfan QUALITY: A decent enough listen, though it may be a bit heavy on the high end. I'm 75% certain that this came from a video source. Unfortunate, but I'm not sure there is a true audio source floating around. The lack of audience noise makes me think this was shot from the tapers section which was typically video cameras. Maybe if someone has the video can contact me to help me compare. SOURCE: Unknown analog, I'm not positive, but may have come from a video source. Lineage: Unknown gen cassette > Goldwave > EQ'd > CDWAVE > WAV (Transfer done by me) TIME: 133 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes, Sacramento is said several times, and Jason makes reference to it being the second night. FLAWS: Most of Lars'drum solo is cut. It cuts in at the very end with Lars explaining how the LA times called them a self paraody. BAND PERFORMANCE: Good performance tonight, especially the last half. The band seems to really gel in the last half of this concert. They seem to be in a pretty loose mood which is always good. James jokes before doing the Unforgiven about "doing something new...unless you were here last night, or at Day on the Green". Interesting to hear him reference a gig from last fall. Typically doesn't do that. Still early on in what would become a very long tour, so the show still carries a "fresh" feel verses a routine feel that the later shows would carry. A slightly different set tonight with Horsemen and Breadfan inserted in to mix it up for the second night.
