QUALITY: Where to start, I've had this recording two or three times now, and
the quality was horrible. On some you could barely make out what song it was.
Well this is by far the best copy of this show I've heard. With that being said,
it's far from the best '86 show you'll hear. There is a lot of hiss with the recording,
James' vocals come across a little slowed down, and the sound has a "warble" to it. Meaning
that it has a slight fade out and fade back in. It's not horrible, but takes a little
getting used to. This does stop at during Lightning if I remember right. 'Thing' comes across
really well in this recording, you can really hear Jason's bass playing which makes the song
"thicker" even over the tape hiss.

SOURCE: Unknown audience analog
TIME: 90 minutes

CORRECT SHOW: Yes, James says "Scanning the scene in Tokyo tonight" during Seek. It also
differs in the inbetween song chatter from 11/19/86.

FLAWS: 'Thing' is cut slightly at the end for the tape flip. Side B starts with Fade to Black.
Fight is cut, and I think this show runs 100 minutes. I'm tracking this down.

BAND PERFORMANCE: Overall a really good performance. This show completed the first Japanese tour, so
there must have been mixed emotions coming from the recent death of Cliff. The pressure on Jason
must have been pretty high, his bass solos on the '86 tour were pretty short compared to the '87 solos.
I can't detect any major flaws in the performance, a lot of aggression in this show. Metal Church was
the opener.
