Lars'speech So What Creeping Death Sad But True Ain't My Bitch Ain't My Bitch Hero of the Day Hero of the Day King Nothing One Fuel Jason/Kirk's solo Nothing Else Matters Until it Sleeps Until it Sleeps For Whom the Bell Tolls For Whom the Bell Tolls Wherever I May Roam Wherever I May Roam Fade to Black QUALITY: Nice quality, though a little distant typical of the '97 recordings because the stage was in the "round". Really this is a nice recording, too bad it's incomplete. There is a slight distortion that is on the recording, but it's not bad. Not sure if the mics caused this, or the levels were set to high on the DAT. The taper did both 5/9 and 5/10. He sent copies to a guy that I got my copies from. Somewhere along the lines this show got really screwed up. Both nights got sent to me and are incomplete. They were so screwed up it's not even worth describing. At any rate, I was able to salvage 130 minutes from night 2, and 90 minutes from night 1. I tried to get a redo from the 1st gen trader, but his ended up being screwed up too. He made a half hearted attempt to contact the taper, but the taper never responded and both he and the 1st gen trader were never heard from again. At any rate, I tell you all of this to say basically this is it for these shows. I'll be surprised if anyone has complete copies of both shows. There is a video for night 2, I have it, but it's pretty rough. SOURCE: Unknown Mic > Unknown DAT LINEAGE: 2nd gen cassette > Goldwave (Eq'd) > WAV > CDR TIME: 130 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes FLAWS: Incomplete. BAND PERFORMANCE: This is night two in Fort Worth, both nights were filmed by the band which turned into Cunning Stunts. This show starts off with Lars speaking to the crowd telling them that the cameras last night were messed up, so they need to play somes songs twice. That explains the messed up setlist, and certainly acts as a unique show on an otherwise pretty uneventful tour. Performance is good of course, need to look good for the cameras :-)
