Intro Enter Sandman Creeping Death Harvester of Sorrow Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Sad but True Wherever I May Roam The Unforgiven Jason's Solo (slight cut) Kirk's solo Nothing Else Matters For Whom the Bell Tolls Fade to Black Master of Puppets Seek and Destroy Whiplash One Last Caress Am I Evil? Damage Inc. QUALITY: Pretty nice quality recording on this one. The taper's friend talks a little bit about moving to a new spot during the end of Sandman. The recording levels do seem to run a little hot, almost to the point of distortion. Actually it does seem to distort a little bit on the bass drum. Minor problem though really, overall the recording is very listenable, crowd chatter is to a minimum. SOURCE: Unknown audience analog TIME: 134 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes, Jason says "Keeping it going Mobile" during Harvester. FLAWS: Some of Jason's solo is cut. There is a fade out between Roam and The Unforgiven, not sure what's missing there. There are a lot of fade outs between songs in the last half of the concert, especially during the encores. I assume this was to save space and be able to get this on a 2CD silver set. Not sure if a truely full show is in circulation. BAND PERFORMANCE: Some technical difficulties at this show. Right after the intro music Enter Sandman doesn't start right away, there are a few scratchy guitar notes, and then after about 30 seconds Sandman starts. Also during the first verse of Creeping Death, James' vocals cut out, and Jason jumps in to sing the missing lyrics until James' gets to a mic that is working. Kind of cool to hear Jason step up and sing the vocals. Also a much shorter setlist than normal. I assume they were working out the setlist for the GnR tour coming up in a month or so. In fact, James says "what the fuck are we doing now, we're fucking with the set here tonight." Another nice show by the mighty met. Great to see Damage Inc in the set, love that song. Probably the most interesting thing about this show is the change around in setlist. Previous to this the set was pretty set in stone. Pretty nice summer 92 show overall.
