Intro Hit the Lights The Four Horsemen Leper Messiah Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Harvester Of Sorrow Frantic Sad but True St. Anger Master of Puppets One Blackened No Remorse Nothing else Matters Damage, Inc. Creeping Death Enter Sandman QUALITY: Recording is pretty rough, standard for the ECM-DS70P. The taper is pretty far back from the stage so the crowd is very present. Singing, yelling, obviously very happy to be seeing Metallica. Which is the way it should be I guess. Fair amount of distortion on this recording as well. Probably best left for die hard collectors. SOURCE: ECM-DS70P mic > Sony MZ-R909 MD TIME: 130 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes FLAWS: Clicks between tracks, probably won't fix since the recording is pretty rough. BAND PERFORMANCE: I know this show for me personally was a big sigh of releif. After all of the turmoil, Jason leaving, rehab, therapist, etc. etc. nothing beats Metallica in front of a large crowd. It was very nice to see and hear. Excluding the Fillmore shows, the prison gig, a TV show, and a short set at Donington, this was the first real Metallica live gig since 2000. Like I said, very nice to see and hear. Performance is a bit rusty, but that's okay, the opening numbers from this set are great. Some mistakes in No Remorse, but Damage Inc smokes and is always good to see in the set.
