Krist's Speech/ Interview
My Rating: B+
The interview plays clips of Smells Like Teen Spirit, Floyd The Barber, and School. He talks all about the release of Nevermind and how NIRVANA will not conform. You know who should die? The people who start tracks at the between-song ganter and not at the actual song!!! I hate that! Oh well, the show kicks ass anyway... A great setlist combined with some good energy makes this CD an A, but the quality of this disc is not so hot. Krist does a little speech for one of those "dating services", saying how he is some chick named Kimberly. After Lounge Act, he and Dave then go on to say how Steven King claims Adelaide to be the scariest city in the world. On a Plain has an extended introduction, one of the coolest ever for that particular song. After Smells Like Teen Spirit, Kurt seems to start Endless, Nameless but for some reason it amounts to a very impromptu and harsh version of Love Buzz. Go figure... This is a pretty good CD to get, and the Krist thing at the end really is good. Recommended. |
