My Rating: A
Very nice audience recording. Mix is nice, and the sound is clear. My copy is from a first generation analog, which is always nice. Love Buzz cuts in, and is a totally ripped version. Dave comments on the number of people there, which he believes to be "a lot". The band is really agressive and plays very aggressively. After Floyd The Barber, Krist comments on the fact that someone across the street is selling all kinds of bracelets. Breed goes right into Scoff, no time inbetween the songs at all. It is almost hard to tell it's not just one song! The scream at the end of Scoff is great. Dave says that they "are not professionals" after School, Krist then asking for John Cameron Nixon to step to the center of the stage. KURT introduces Been A Son!!! That's the first time I've ever heard that! It's always Dave! Cool! Lithium is amazing. This is the earliest show I've heard where Lithium really takes on the dark and tranquil quality during the verse to thrust into the bellowing, gut-wrenching power during the chorus. This is really the first time that the Nevermind-era contrast is obvious. Amazing. After Molly's Lips, Krist talks about some political figure in British Columbia looking like Hitler and being part of the fucked up political system. Spank Thru features a very alternate structure; the guitar closing out the song and no reversion back to the chorus or verse at the end. Territorial Pissings is GREAT! I love this show. GET IT!!! |
