Recording is not bad... a little tape hiss... but other than that just about as good as you could expect from an analog audience recording. Kurt counts off Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam, but when the crowd doesn't count with him, he stops and has them count it off with them. Very cool. After School, Dave calls the band "The Lenny Kravitz experience". The people by the taper talk through the entire fucking beginning. Dickheads. The show gets off to a slow start with tons of between-song time. Sliver totally rocks, as does Lithium, the FIRST performance of All Apologies (with alternate lyrics) and an early Dumb. Something In The Way and Lounge Act (best song of the show... probably one of the best versions ever... a "10" all the way) are the two highlights. These are by far my favorite live songs from this tour. Something in the Way totally brings the house down, Kurt's vocals penetrating through the audience. That song was best live and electric. Awesome show, probably in my top five favorites from this leg of the tour. My copy is very nice... pick this up!!! |
