The tape is a little bit hissy, due to some generation problems. The Nirvana set from this show (Nirvana being the headlining band, obviously) was played over the radio and is available in crystal clear digital quality. I am thus convinced that the Melvins version is similarly available, and am seeking an upgrade. But in the time being, this is an EXCELLENT version of a great show. The tape is soundboard (always nice). The band sounds really funny playing in front of thousands of people. Songs like Joan of Arc get little to no reaction from the crowd. I recommend getting this show because it's an awesome soundboard recording of a rare treat for Melvins fans-- Melvins doing ARENA ROCK!!!
