This is probably the most energetic show I've heard from the Maggot Tour. There's all sorts of great stuff you can catch in a Melvins show when you have a board patch (this show is from the soundboard) that you don't ordinarily hear when you're in the audience. The noise intro is breathtaking, and the musical clarity and refinement improves as the show moves on. It's a shame that the entire thing isn't here. This is my favorite disc from this tour (that includes the show I was at...). Highly recommended.
