Hello! My name is Kitty (no, really, but it's what I like to be known as in the Net), I was born in 1974 (25 and a half, then, when I'm writing this) and I live in Rome, Italy. Blur is my favourite band, along with OASIS and RIDE (maybe you don't know them, but you HAVE to.They are an incredible great band from Oxford, unfortunately they split up…) and Damon is definitely my favourite member. Oh, don't take me wrong, I love the whole band …but Damon, well, he's just Damon! I got into Blur in February 1998, I'd like to have known them before but only that afternoon, watching TV I spotted the BEETLEBUM video. I stay tuned because of Damon, I admit it, and that was my luck 'cause that way I had the chance to listen to one of the greatest pieces of music ever written…I was amazed at how good they sounded…and went straight to buy an album of theirs…it was MLIR; my all time favourite and by the first two minutes of listening, I was already into Blur. I've seen them live eventually, it was the Wembley gig in December '99 and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. They are my first favourite band, after all… I reckon I prefer the old songs, the old style,the britishness of the Britpop era…they are still great but in a different way. I also love LEISURE, even if it's often rated as 'a good debut album': I think is a masterpiece, instead. THERE'S NO OTHER is simply the catchiest tune ever and SING is so emotional it makes me cry…that deep growing wall of sound! A sonic waterfall you just can't help listening from your inner self! What else? I work for a telecommunication company, 'a steady employment' Damon would say…I love cats (especially black ones), rainy days, pubs, weird stuff, writing, reading, horror movies (and, yes, I do believe in ghosts!), going out, darkness, pizza, Diet Coke,lager, Marlboro Lights, fragrances, dark colours…blue eyed boys, McDonald's food (sorry, Damon! ^__^), spooky stories and Waterlow Park… |

If you'ever wondered what I like the most about Damon, here is it! HIS LOVELY VOICE of course and the way he sings so warm and sexy, you just can't help falling in love with him at the very first time! HIS WITTY AND EMOTIONAL LYRICS NDLTR is no less than a poem! HIS EYES…not only for the sparkling colour and the shape but especially for his magnetic look! I could go about for ages on this subject but I won't! HIS TURNED UP NOSE…I just can't help! HIS BLONDE LOCKS…circa 1993, they looked their best ever! HIS SMILE…he hasn't got nice teeth, but still he smiles lovely! HIS ACCENT…I like his Lahndan accent! And, actually, I miss a bit his cheeky Parklife way of singing! THE WAY HE DRESSED IN THE MODERN LIFE ERA: Fred Perry's, turned up jeans and cherry red DM's…so cool! |
