The Hole

I grit my teeth, jabbing forward
Withing seconds I'm done and grinning evily
That wasn't hard, I grin
But then, as she takes her hand away,
Falling to the ground in pain
I get a look at something I've never seen or forgotten since;
A dark black hold in flesh of white
Oozing, pouring, blackness within
The black spills down her face, into her mouth
In the center of her freckled forehead
The blackness keeps spilling out
I clench my stomach with one hand,
Clapping the other over my mouth...
I turn and run as fast as I can
Queasyness overcomes me, I can no longer stand on my feet
I collapse behind a large oak tree
Gasping, coughing, aching for breath
My eyes open wide, my mouth agape
My stomach churning, my body twitching
The blackness still haunts me today
I will never forget what I saw that day....
