Kurt Cobain Was Murdered!
I strongly believe that Kurt did not actually commit suicide, but was murdered. It is commonly thought that Kurt's death was self-inflicted, because that is what the Seattle Police Department told the media. The SPD did not actually do much investigating into his death, but immediatley dubbed his death a suicide, because according to many people, he was 'suicidal for a long time', and, rather than take the time to find out the truth, they took the easy way out and labeled it a suicide, because that's what they thought eveyone expected to hear, anyway.
Tom Grant is a private investigator that was hired by Courtney Love. I believe she hired him so as not to look suspicious. (Think about-if someone close to you dissapeared, wouldn't it look rather odd that you weren't doing anything to find them?) Mr. Grant discovered many inconsistencies in the case and grew suspicious. He came to the conclusion that Courtney was involved in Kurt's death, and he did not kill himself, but was murdered. He put together a web site dedicated to sharing his investigation with the world. It was up for about 3 years but only recently started being noticed by the media. Lack of funds forced Mr. Grant to close his site down. Before it closed, however, Mr. Grant had a section where you could download the entire site in text format. I have saved some of the files, but some are outdated, as I downloaded them more than a year ago. I have decided to continue to support Mr. Grant's theories by putting the files onto my site. I know that there is a lot of material, but it is definetly worth reading. When I first came across Mr. Grant's site, I spent over 2 hours reading, and came back every few months and read more. It changed my outlook of his death completely....please take the time to read about his investigation.
Some of the information uncovered in the investigation:
- Kurt had 3 times the lethal dosage of heroin is his system, meaning Kurt died a few seconds later, not giving him enough time to pick up a shotgun, position it, and pull the trigger
- There were no legible finger prints on the gun and Kurt wasn't wearing gloves
- The coroner who said that the shotgun wound was self inflicted was a good friend of Courtney Love's. In fact, they used to party together
- Someone was using Kurt's credit card after he was found dead
- Just a couple of weeks after Kurt's death, Courtney went on tour with her band. (Why was she on tour? Don't you think she'd be at home playing the role of a greiving widow? I guess all the millions of dollars she inherited from her dead husband cheered her up)
- At the time of his death, Kurt was threatening to divorce Courtney
