"What I want, what I want, is just your children"
In early 1996, Nothing/Interscope Records released one of the most widely known albums. And surprise, surprise, this album was by none other than the infamous Marilyn Manson. Manson produces one of the biggest acts today and has his "great", Mansonite fanatics running around following his every move, trying to be an "individual" just like Manson himself is, and we all know how much of an individual he is.
Manson has become one of the most widely known artists there is for his controversial lyrics, appearance, and out-look on organized religion. Most Mansonites now believe this so called "artist" is raising an new generation, above oppression, and to become individuals. I've got a big news flash for all of you out there who think you are being yourself. Dressing in black clothing, white make-up, and such isn't being individual.
Oh, but of course, since Mason dresses that way, its all right because he's your "God". Dressing like Manson doesn't prove you are an individual, it proves you are a gullible moronic idiot who has nothing better to do than mold themselves into this man's likeness trying to be the "individual" Manson tells you to be. The only thing Manson is making is a generation of hatred and rebellion, although, who's to say that hasn't already been here for years.
KISS, Alice Cooper, even Robert Smith from The Cure all wore make-up. And many more I won't mention. What is so special about Manson? You need a life. Just because Manson dresses a certain way, it doesn't mean you're supposed to. The majority of Manson fans are angst-driven teenagers wanting to break free of their parents and do something they will abhor. Manson being the
most regarded issue. I mean, why wouldn't a depressed teenager looking for haven not want to become a part of this craze? It's got so many "pros". You're parents will hate it, you'll receive a lot of attention from dressing differently. Of course you're going to be pulled into the show.
"Virgins sold in quantity...."
In 1994 Manson released his first well-known album called "Portrait of an American Family". Between the times of '94 and the present day, he released the album "Smells Like Children" with the cover EP of the Eurythmics song "Sweet Dreams". If that wasn't already a sign for a cop-out, I don't know what is, but he really moves mainstream when "Anti-Christ Superstar" rears
its head into mainstream television. Producing already 3 videos for MTV, he continued to produce them on the ACSS album. Having to make sure the videos were suitable for television should have already been a large sign that Manson soon was going to bring himself into the mainstream and become one of the most widely known musicians in American families today.
After the video for "Beautiful People" was released, Manson had already become one of the most widely known artists out there. He built up an army of moronic look a likes, who showed their "originality" by running around with their "Goth-like" appearance, and their new found hatred for religion, mainly Christianity, even though most of them were brought up as Christians. As everyone knows, Manson doesn't like Christianity, so why should all the morons like Christianity and go against the word of Manson? Almost any Mansonite will tell you, "Christianity sucks" or "God sucks", and when asked why, none of them can tell you why. The best answer they can give is "Manson said so." Manson also uses references to God and the devil in many of his lyrics. For instance:
"When I'm god everyone dies...." - The Reflecting God
"He is the savior, he is the raper" -Angel with the Scabbed Wings
The first one, just shows you how much of an idiot Manson is. "When I'm God everyone dies"? Wow. If that isn't the most ignorant lyric, I don’t' know what is. Manson claims he wants his fans to not become the "clones of society, and herd conformists". The only thing he is molding his fans into are fanatic idiots with ignorant ideas about his philosophies. Manson
claims he uses many different philosophies incorporated into his music, such as Nietzsche, Christianity (of all things), LaVey Satanism, and many more. But doesn't this conflict? He takes Nietzsche, the man once known to have philosophy that could support Nazi leaders such as Adolf Hitler, and places it in his music ideas. "When I'm God everyone dies", proves he really doesn't know what Neitzsche is talking about. Neitzsche was the
first man to say "God is dead and man is free." Using that as a metaphor, Manson brings this into his music. Also bringing LaVey Satanism, and other conflicting ideas. Manson loves conflict and hatred, and he seems to think it only makes him stronger. I find that amusing because last time I checked, he's so strong right now, he's whining about how much America hates him, and how he wants to leave. Why doesn't he just take over the world now, since he has SO much "power" and hatred?
"...Our Antichrist is almost here....."

In the footsteps of KISS and Alice Cooper, Manson is once again bringing shock rock alive in the hearts of teenagers. The music of Manson is nothing more than an attention-getter in America today. If he didn't want the attention he shouldn't have made the MTV videos, made appearances on Politically Incorrect, the Donahue Show, and many other television shows watched in
America today. Manson doesn't breed intelligence. Manson breeds stupidity in America today. This is a fact. Look at most of his fans. You'll realize that from the minute you talk to them. In just a short period of time, Manson has become the mainstream trend, bringing more and more morons together for his shows of hatred and Hollywood stage acts. And yes, he IS an act. And he has said that himself. What would you expect from the loser of the year?
This is my opinion on Manson. And if you don't like it well, I suppose I should take this down? No. Why don't you go along with what Manson wants. Freedom of Speech. Scared of a little opposition? Then email your hate letters. See how much of a hypocrite you can be.
If you want to learn more information on Nietzsche, check out Dark Synner's page. Manson bases his philosophies off of him, and if you're not interested, then you're a disgrace to Manson.
