Part 10 Part 10 of "Since Then"
Jennifer jumped into the shower as soon as she got to her room. She had a 15 minute shower, it would have been quicker but she had to shave her legs. She ran around in her robe looking through the closet for something to wear. She decided on her new dress. It was a long black dress, it had 1 inch thick straps, the front went straight across and it had a slit up the side of one leg. It was very form fitting. She looked really nice in it. She then grabbed her bag and grabbed a black headband and a ton of bobby pins. She twisted her long bland hair in sections , then pinned them to her head. When the sections reached the back of her head she let them go loose. Then she flipped her head upside down and pinned all the loose ends up. She fixed up all the little flyaways and slid the headband on. She hairsprayed it a bit to make it stay. It looked really cool. She then did her make-up. She put it on really nicely, as she had been taught in her modeling course she once took. She spritzed herself with some Dream, by Gap and put on some sheer deodorant. She ran back to the closet and grabbed her 3 inch platforms. The were black and had lots of little straps going across them. She touched herself up a bit and threw some make-up into her purse. She was playing with a bobbypin when she heard a knock on the door. She looked at her watch and saw the time. "It must be Nick," she thought. She peeked one last time in the mirror and thought she looked really good. She quickly ran to the door and opened it.
When Nick looked up, he was totally surprised at what he saw. His mouth dropped open and he couldn't help but stare. Jennifer got nervous. "Am I overdressed??" she thought.
"What?" she asked Nick afraid of what his reply would be.
"Sorry," he said meeting Jennifer's eyes, "You look.....amazing!!"
"Am I overdressed?" she asked really worried.
"No!!" Nick replied quickly. "It's just, your the first girlfriend i've ever had who dressed up for my concert before."
"Is that a good thing?" she asked shyly.
"Its a really sweet thing...." he said, pausing to step closer to her. "It makes me happy I can call you my girlfriend. Your so beautiful..."
"Thanks, Nick. I wanted to look good for you tonight. I'm very proud of you." she spoke quitely. She stepped closer to Nick and put her arms around his neck. The looked into each others eyes for awile before moving closer to each other and sharing a kiss.
When the finished the turned to see A.J., Brian, Kevin, Howie, Aaron and Nicks mom standin in the hallway all with big smiles on their faces. Jennifer and Nicks faces turned bright red and both were really embarrased.
Everyone just turned and laughed. Brian called over his shoulder, "Lets go guys," and chuckled to himself again.
Jennifer and Nick looked at each other and laughed. Both were extremly embarrased. Jennifer shut her door and her and Nick made their way downstairs with the rest of everyone.

When they reached the front doors of the hotel Jennifer saw for the first time how bad the fans were. There were about a hundred screaming fans outside. A.J., Brian and Howie had already gotten into the limo. The security guards were coming back to get Aaron and Jane and take them to the limo. Nick and Jennifer would be taken in last. Ncik gave Jennifer a couple of hints before going.
"Look straight ahead. Forget everyone aroung and just focus on following me and the security guards. I won't let anything happen to you ok?" Nick said taking hold of Jennifers hand. "Whatever you do DON'T let go of my hand." Nick warned.
The security guards came back and two outside opened the doors. Screams were all Jennifer could hear. She grabbed ahold of Nicks hand tightly and Nick squeezed her hand tightly. There were hundreds of flashes going off all around her. All she could see was the back of Nicks shirt and the flashes around her. After about 10 seconds of running to the limo she finally reached it. She climbed into the limo and carefully took her seat next to Nick. She was amazed at what just happened. She started to feel a bit sick. She was extreamly clausterphobic. She was glad she was in the limo, safe away from all the fans. .
