Part 11 Part 11 of "Since Then"
Jennifer slowly opened her eyes. She sat up, no longer feeling the pain in her head. She looked around, she was on the same couch where she had fallen asleep. She saw everything she had before, but this time, there was no one in sight. The whole stage area was empty. She stood up forgetting that she was wearing the 3 inch heels so she fell back on the couch. She laughed at herself and stood up again. She looked around. Where would she go? "Where was everyone?" she thought. She decided to try and find her way back to the room where Nick had taken her earlier. There she found Nick and Brian playing N64, Kevin taking a nap on the couch she had once been on, and Howie listening to something on his diskman. She entered the room. No one noticed her.
"Nick?" she asked.
Nick looked up from the game her was playing and saw who it was.
"Jenn!!" he exclaimed. "Your up!"
"Yeah, I was hoping you guys would be here. This is the only place I know in this whole huge building."
"HA!!" Brian suddenly yelled. "I just beat your ass Nick!! Five bucks loser!!"
"No fair!" Nick yelled back, turning his attention to Brian. "I was talking to Jenn. Re-match!!"
"You wish!!! Five bucks!! Now!! Ha! I finally beat you!! Thanks Jenn. I've been wanting to beat this guy for awile and I finally did." Brian said happily.
"No prob, Brian." Jennifer said smiling. She felt bad for making Nick loose.
"Here!" Nick said angrilly, as he took out his wallet and chucked a five dollar bill at Brian.
Brian just laughed and turned off the N64.
"Don't turn it off Bri, lets play again." Nick exclaimed.
"Can't do man. Time to get ready." he said looking at his watch.
"CRAP!!" Nick yelled as he stood up. He was obveously a very poor loser. Nick walked up to Kevin, said "Kevin, wake up, lets go!" Then he walked over to Howie waved his hand infront of his face and walked away leaving Jenn standing in the room. She just stood there.
"Am I suposed to follow him or what? This is really alkward." she thought.
Just then Nick came back into the room with an embarraased smile on his face, grabbed Jennifer's hand and lead her away.
"Sorry about making you loose Nick." Jennifer said appologetically.
"Don't worry about it. Doesn't bother me that much. That was all an act. Brian never wins so when he does, he likes it to be a big deal, so I let him think it bugs me."
"Your so nice." Jennifer said sarcastically.
"I know," he said jokingly. They arrived at a door that had "Nick Carter" written on a piece of paper and stuck to the door. He opened the door. It was a really nice, really big dressing room. It had a couch, a huge mirror and a bathroom with a shower. Nick took a shower while Jennifer read one of the many magazines laid out on the table. He got dressed and then took her to make-up with him. He had his hair and make-up done. Jennifer found this amusing, she had never seen anyone, guy or girl wear more make-up than Nick had on. He then gave her her backstage pass and a huge kiss before she left to go find her seat in the audience. There were already people there. She found her seat and waited. About 20 minutes later Aaron came out. He noticed Jennifer in the audience cause she was front row, center. He gave her a little wave and put on an excellent performance. She was amazed. Then there was a 20 minute wait before the BSB finally came out. Nick smiled at her, she smiled back. Whenever one of the guys noticed her, or came near her, they'd smile and wave. The girl beside her kept thinking Nick was waving to her. She didn't bother to correct her though cause she remembered how happy her friend was when she thought the same thing when she had come back from her BSB concert. Halfway through the concert a security guard came up to her and told her she was wanted back stage. She followed the guard and waiting backstage. She wondered what happened. Little did she know, this was all part of Nicks plan.
