Part 15 Part 15 of "Since Then"
After a couple minutes of kissing Nick and Jennifer slowly separated.
"I guess you should probobly finish packing," Nick said as he loosened his grip around Jennifer.
"I guess so," she replied, giving him a gentle kiss on his cheek before walking over to her bags.
"I'll be back in about 10 minutes, ok?" Nick asked.
"Sure," she replied.
Jennifer finished packing and had all her bags at the end of her bed. She took a seat on the bed and started thinking. She thought of all the memories that she and Nick had shared. It brought a tear to her eye. She then started thinking of her old boyfriends, especially Robbie. All the memories of when they had been going out made her start to cry, but not because of happy memories, or wishing they were still together tears, these were tears of horrible nightmears, horrible memories that would wake her up in the middle of the night. She started sobbing so uncontrolably, she didn't notice the knock on the door. It was Nick. He slowly walked into the room, only to find Jennifer on her side, curled into a ball, crying and shaking uncontrolably.
"Jennifer?" Nick said slowly. "Are you ok?"
Jennifers back stiffined as soon as she heard Nicks voice.
"Ya, i'm fine," she said quickly as she started whiping the tears away.
"Then why are you crying?" he asked as he slowly sat down on the bed beside Jennifer.
"I'm not crying," she said.
"You are," Nick said as he slowly and gently rolled her over to face him. "Your eyes still have tears in them Jenn. Why are you crying?" he asked her again.
Jennifer thought about Robbie again
, "I can't tell him yet, later, I'll tell him later." she thought.
"It's nothing Nick, i'm fine now." she replied.
"Jennifer, your not fine, what is...."
"Nick," she said her eyes filling with tears again, "I can't tell you, not yet. Please just give me time. Please Nick, give me time," her voice started to waver then she broke down into tears and her whole body started shaking again.
"It's o.k. Jennifer, you can tell me when your ready," Nick said as he craddled her in his arms. "Shhhh, it's ok, it's ok."

After Jennifer calmed down, Nick brought her and all her luggage downstairs. After her crying, she was better, but still pretty quiet. Her mood had changed and she was no longer always happy, like she was before. Nick was starting to really worry. Once all their luggage had been loaded into the tour bus, they all got in and did their own thing. A.J. and Kevin went into their beds and took a nap. Howie, Brian, Nick and Jennifer went to watch some TV. Nick and Jennifer were together on the couch. They were sitting together for about an hour when Jennifer got up and said she was tired.
"Ok," was Nicks response.
"Where should I go?" Jennifer asked.
"Here, i'll show you," said Howie.
"Thanks, see you in a bit Nick," Jennifer said as she gave Nick a little kiss on the cheek, before following Howie out of the room.
Nick sighed and closed his eyes.
"Hey chaos, is she ok?" Brian asked gently.
Nick opened his eyes slowly and responded.
"Well when I went to her room before we left, she was crying, like really bad. When I asked her what was wrong she just told me she couldn't tell me yet and then she started crying again. Now she's being all quiet and isn't talking much. I don't know what it is and I don't know what I should do."
Brian was silent for a minute before answering Nick.
"Give her time. It may be a bad memory or something, so you just gotta wait. Treat her the same though. Go on normally and she should be fine. Just be aware of things."
"I guess so," Nick said. "Thanks."
"No prob, man. Now wanna watch Simpsons or South Park?"
"Is Simpsons new? Cause if it isn't I want to watch South Park, but if it is new I......" Nick put Jennifer in the back of his mind. He didn't want to think about it until later.

About 1 hour later after a full episode of South Park Nick decided to go check on Jennifer. He went to his bunk and pulled back the blind. He looked at Jennifer's face. Her eyes were all swolen and he could see the tear streaks down her face. Nick knew she was asleep but he spoke to her anyways.
"Jennifer, I really would like to know whats wrong. I'm really worrying about you and you always crying is scaring me. How can I help you? I really care about you and I want you to feel better but what can I do? Aww, you can't even hear me but I asked you when you were awake you'd start crying and I would feel like I did something wrong. Have a good sleep."
Nick brushed back a piece of her hair from her face, gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek, then left and closed the blind behing him. Little did she know that Jennifer was awake and heard everything. She layed in bed and thought for awile.
"I have to tell him. He thinks its him and all i'm doing is upsetting him. I should let him know its not him, it's Robbie. I'll do it as ..."
All of a sudden Jennifers thoughts were interupted by the sound of Kevin's voice.
"Yo! Guys, were stopping now!! Were stopping to get some food."
Jennifer decided this would be a good time to wake up and talk to Nick. She slowly made her way out of the bunk and over towards the TV room, she heard someone behind her so she turned around, saw no one, then as she was turning back she bumped into someone.
"Ouch!" she cried as her head smaked into the person's chest.
She looked up to descover Nick with a half smile, half appologetic look on his face.
"Sorry, Jenn." Nick said as he took a step back from her and the half smile faded.
"No, i'm sorry Nick, I should have watched where I was going," she said with a smile.
"It's ok, did you have a good sleep?" he asked still not smiling.
"Yeah, but when we stop, I have something to tell you." she replied. She noticed that there was a tiny spark of happiness in his eyes when she told him, before he blinked it away and reached down to kiss her. She kissed his back. He deserved it. He had been worrying for so long. He should be able to relax.
After the kiss they smiled at each other and the bus stopped. They got out and found themselves at a small rest stop. They went in and separated to go into different washrooms. After answering to the call of nature, Jennifer was washing her hands and looking at herself in the mirror. She realized she was going to do it. She had to. She walked out the door to find Nick at the cash buying a 7up and a bag of chips. Jennifer carefully put her hands around his waist. He smiled and turned slightly. As Nick was recieving his change Jennifer stood on her tip toes and wispered in his ear.
"Nick, where can we go to talk? I have to tell you something important." He put the change in his pocket and turned around, took Jennifer's hand and led her to a bench that was beside the store. Jennifer took a deep breath and started.
"Nick, I was awake when you came into the bunk awile ago. I heard everything."
Nick sighed heavily and looked away at the highway.
"Nick, it was very sweet and it brought me to a conclusion......it was very unfair not telling you why I was crying. You have been worrying about me and I have not told you anything. It's not about you at all Nick. It's about something that happened in the past..."
"Jennifer, you don't have to tell me, I hope you don't feel you have to," Nick interupted.
"No Nick, you deserve to know. So here it is. It all started when I like this guy named Robbie. We started talking at parties and stuff and we soon started going out, well one day, he told me we should spend it together. So we took a drive way out to the middle of no where. It was a 2 hour drive down country roads where it seamed no one else had ever driven down," Jennifer voise began to waver adn her eyes started to water. ncik protectivly put his arm around Jennifer.
"We went and we were having a picnic lunch when all of a sudden, he changed and, and...."

I know you must be waiting for the continuation of this, but your gonna have to be patient....it's not what your expecting, believe me!!!
