Part 9 Part 9 of "Since Then"
After Jennifer had gotten dressed, she made her way over to Brians room. She knocked on the door and Brian answered it.
"Hey Jenn!" Brian said with a big smile on his face. "Come on in."
Jennifer entered the room and Nick stood up and gave her a quick little kiss on the lips and sat back down. He had a big cheesy smile on his face. Jennifer noticed.
"What?" she asked.
"Nothing." Nick replied.
"No, why do you have that goofy smile on your face?" she asked.
"Do I? I don't know. I guess I must be happy to see you." he replied.
"You guess?" she asked sarcastically. "Thanks! You hear that Brian? He guesses! Well I know where i'm not wanted." She stood up. Nick jumped up too.
"I was kidding! Don't be mad." he had a concerned look on his face.
"I was kidding too!" she laughed. Brian laughed at Nicks stupidity and shook his head. While Nick looked at the ground sheepishly.
"Sorry hun. It had to be done," Jenn said as she gave Nick a little kiss on the nose.
There was a knock on the door that broke the alward silence. Brian got up to go answer it.
"Hey little bro! Whats up?" They heard Brian say. All of a sudden Aaron appeared.
"Hey bud!" Nick said.
Aaron ran right past Nick and wrapped his arms around Jennifer. "Hi Jennifer!" Aaron cried.
"Hi Aaron." she replied. She looked up at Nick with a confused look on her face and Nick rolled his eyes.
"Aaron..." Nick said kind of annoyed sounding.
" Oh hey Nick," He said as he removed himself from Jennifer and got up and sat beside her. "Wanna come with me this afternoon?"
Jennifer looked up at Nick then back at Aaron. "Where are you going?"
"I'm going shopping and Mom said, she doesn't have to come with me if I go with you...so wanna come?"
She looked up at Nick again as if to ask what she should do. He simply shrugged his shoulders as if to say 'It's up to you'. She looked down at Aaron again and replied, "Sure. I'd love to."
"YEAH!!!!" Aaron screamed but then stopped, brushed back his hair and said "I mean, thats good. I'll go tell my mom."
Aaron ran out of the room and slammed the door. Brian started laughing and Nick looked annoyed.
"What?" Jennifer asked, this being the second time in the last 5 minutes she wasn't sure of what was going on.
Brian looked at Nick and answered. "The last time he did this was when he had a crush on Nicks last girlfriend. He seems to do this with everyone of his girlfriends."
Jennifer laughed. "Thats so cute!" She said.
Nick seemed to look a bit jealous which made Jennifer laugh harder. "Your not jealous are you??" she asked.
"NO!" he quickly replied.
"Aww baby Nickys jealous of his younger brother!!" she cried.
"I'm not!!" he yelled, not getting the joke and getting really annoyed looking. Jennifer knew it was time to stop.
"Don't worry," she said still laughing a bit. "I'm not going to dump you for your little brother." Jennifer looked up at Brian and they burst out laughing. She looked at Nick who was getting annoyed again.
"Sorry Nick, but listen to how it sounds." She started laughing again and this time Nick joined in.

Jennifer had a lot of fun shopping with Aaron. He didn't buy anything, they just looked and walked around, although he was noticed a couple times by people and at one point they had to run away but other than that it was fun. On the cab ride home Jennifer decide to ask Aaron if he did in fact, have a crush on her.
"Aaron," Jennifer asked.
"Yeah?" he said looking up at her.
"You don't, by any chance, have a crush on me do you?"
Aarons face became flushed and he looked down. "No...." he said quietly. "Why do you think that?"
Jennifer could tell he was feeling upset so she tried to cheer him up. "Cause Nick was a little worried."
"He was.." he said as his face seemed to light up.
"Yep. He was worried that you were going to steal me away from him."
"He was??" he asked. Jennifer nodded her head. "Oh don't worry, your too old for me anyways."
"Ya but your cute," she said as she gave him a little kiss on the cheek. He blushed and she laughed.
"I'm sure there's someone for you Aaron," she said reasurinly.
"I know!" He said, "i'm only 11 anyways!!"
She laughed again and they arrived at the hotel.

She said bye to Aaron and found Nick in his room, changing. She knocked on the door and Nick answered it. His shirt was off. He seemed to be a bit embarrassed when he saw who it was.
"Awww!!" she said as she walked hrough the door and shut it behind her.
"What?" he asked.
"I always wondered why you never took off your shirt on stage...now i'm ever more confused. You have a cute stomach. Awww! Look! Little pecs, awwww!! And a little six-pack!!"
Nick started to blush. He grabbed a shirt and put it on.
"Don't be embarressed. It's cute." she said.
Nick changed the subject. "How was shopping?"
"Great!! Your little brothers so cute!! And don't worry, he doesn't have a crush on me anymore!!"
Nick laughed, "Right!" he said.
"Ok!" she said confused. "But anyways Nick, whens the concert?"
"We leave in about 40 minutes."
"Oh crap! I have to go get ready!"she said as she ran over to Nick, gave him a quick peck on the check and headed towards the door.
"Wait!" he yelled.
"What?" she said turning around.
Nick walked over to her and gave her a long passionate kiss.
"Oh,....wow..." she said breathlisly.
"I'll come get you in 40 minutes ok?" he asked.
"Sure." she said, still a little out of it.
"Bye hun," he said as he opened the door.
"Bye," she said as she wandered out into the hallway, then into her room.
