Green Day won Best Alternative Music Video in the MTV Video Music Awards.
Green Day are playing at v98 (British music festival) at Chelmsford
and Leeds. It will be cybercast, check out

Green Day will contribute a track to the South Park soundtrack,
Desensitized, which was available on Japanese versions of nimrod.

Green Day will be on Reverb on HBO on late Friday night. Times vary
by area. The show being played will be the July 11th show at the end
of their Edgefest tour. Green Day also will be doing a European tour
during August and then some North American dates in November.

Green Day's Hitchin' A Ride is on the compilation Fresh! released
by Warner Brothers Asia Pacific in conjunction with EMI. Other bands
on the compilation include Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, and Everclear.
Los Angeles Radio (KROQ)'s lineup for this year's Weenie Roast includes
Green Day! It will be held at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre on June 20.
Other bands playing are: Prodigy, Deftones, Marcy Playground, Everclear,
Fastball, the Wallflowers, Third Eye Blind, Blink 182, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy,
Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Creed, Harvey Danger, Ozo Mati, Save Ferris, Sprung

The Godzilla soundtrack has come out! Green Day have a remix of
Brain Stew on it.
After the end of the nimrod. tour, Green Day will collaborate with
the Queers on a cover version of the song "Judy Jetson". They will be
doing backup vocals. This will appear on the Queers' upcoming album.
Billie Joe and Penelope Houston's duet "The Angel and The Jerk",
once rumored to be on a b-side, is probably going to appear on the
sequel soundtrack to Friends.
