`twas brillig and the slithey toves
did gyre and gimble in the wabe

humpty
of course it's called a wabe you know,
because it goes a long way befor it,
and a long way behind it...

alice
...and a long way beyond it on each side

humpty
exactly so

all in the golden afternoon
full leasurly we glide

for both our oars, with little skill
by little arms are plyed

whos little hands make vain pretence
our wanderings to guide

come my head is free at last

do cats eat bats?
do bats eat cats?

child of pure unclouded brow
and dreamey eyes of wonder

though time be fleat i and though
are half our lives usunder

they loving smile will surely hail
the love-gift of a fariey-tail

ever drifting down the stream
linger in the golden gleam

life, what is it but a dream
