1st April: Howie To Star In New Movie (Source: Cdnow) Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys is set to star in a new movie called Bloom. The movie, which begins shooting in May, is reportedly a coming-of-age story about a young Jewish man. Dorough plays a bully. Dorough has acted before, including an uncredited role in 1989's Parenthood and a cameo in Jack of All Trades . This will be his first leading role outside the Backstreet Boys' appearances as themselves on TV and in home videos. (Jim Keller)
