My Tribute to Brian "B-Rok" Littrell

We're praying for you Brian!

I'm proud to anounce that Brian got through his surgery with no problems!
He's alive (thank God) and doing well. I saw him in concert on July 28, and
he is looking better than ever!
"Brian's surgery was a complete success and he is resting comfortably.
The doctors insist that his heart was in better condition than they
originally believed. Both Brian and his family want to extend their thanks
to everyone for their prayers and support." -Kevin

Are you totally confused by that? Well maybe I should explain to those
of you who don't know about Brian's heart problem. Brian was born with a
small hole in his heart. When he was five his heart suddenly stopped beating
for about 30 seconds.
"I remember them taking me out of bed and putting me in a tub of ice
to cool my body off. Then they put me back in bed with only a sheet to cover
me. Ten minutes later they put me back in the ice. This kept up for an hour.
Then I blacked out." -Brian
His mom was warned that Brian was probably not going to make it. The
only thing left to do was pray.
"I just had a faith inside that this wasn't the end for Brian. God just
reached down and touched that child, and he started on his way up."
        -Jackie Littrell (Brian's mom)
Last November doctors discovered that the hole in his heart had caused
it to enlarge which was potentially deadly. He had to be operated on soon.
"My initial thought was 'Great timing!'" -Brian
Brian put off the surgery for six months because of the band. They had
finally achieved success in the US. He didn't want the band to have to go
without a lead singer for two months. So, against his parents will, he
waited until May. Now he is just as good as ever, and I (and I'm sure all
of you) are elated! What would we do without Brian? *S*
