Some years later, some compilations have appeared from these sessions, although some of the albums aren't credited to Pete York anymore (weird!!).

Killer: rockdrum highlights compiles 12 tracks from all these albums. The album cover shows photos of Cozy Powell, Ian Paice and Zak Starkey (wrongly written as Zag Starkey!). Some of the musicians featured here are: Pete York, Cozy Powell, Miller Anderson, Colin Hodgkinson, Jon Lord, Eddie Hardin, Ian Paice, Zak Starkey, Herman Rarebell, Nicko McBrain, Steve Ferrone, Brian Auger, and Bill Bruford, among others.

Pete York presents Super Drumming: the best is another compilation from the same sessions. This one has 13 tracks. Other musicians featured: Pete York, Cozy Powell, Miller Anderson, Colin Hodgkinson, Jon Lord, Eddie Hardin, Ian Paice, Zak Starkey, Herman Rarebell, Nicko McBrain, Steve Ferrone, Brian Auger, and Bill Bruford, among others.

Jon Lord

Colin Hodgkinson and Miller Anderson (singing in one song) appear on this new album by keyboard maestro Jon Lord. Sam Brown also sings in another song.

OTHER SESSIONS

Dave Cousins Strawbs Dave Cousins was the leader of superb folk-rock group The Strawbs. The beautiful album Two weeks last summer was his first solo, and it contains important collaborations: some members of Strawbs play here: Dave Lambert (guitar, vocals), Rick Wakeman (keyboards), plus Miller Anderson on guitar, Roger Glover (Deep Purple) on bass, and Jon Hiseman (Colosseum) on drums.

Heartbreak hill was recorded by the band around 1978. The lineup was: Dave Cousins (vocals, guitar), Chas Cronk (bass), Andy Richards (keyboards), and Tony Fernandez (drums). As they had lost their guitarist, Dave Lambert. Miller Anderson guests singing in one song, 'Let it rain', plus playing guitar in another one, 'We can make it together'. Dave Lambert (guitar) appear in one song, while the rest of the album was played with new member Jo Partridge (guitar). The album was shelved, and it was finally released in 1995!

Halcyon days is a compilation, and it includes some obscure tracks, as well as their more famous songs (plus some songs from Dave Cousins solo album and songs from Hudson-Ford). The list of musicians is amazing. I'll only mention the members of my Olympus that play here: Miller Anderson (guitar), Nicky Hopkins (keyboards), Tommy Eyre (keyboards), John Hawken (keyboards), Blue Weaver (keyboards), Jon Hiseman (drums).

Johann G. Johannsson This Scandinavian artist (he composes, sings, plays guitar and bass in this album) recorded this album at Olympic Sound Studios in London, with great British musicians: Miller Anderson (guitar in 4 tracks), Colin Green (guitar), Brian Gascoigne (keyboards), Jon Taylor (keyboards), Derek Wadsworth (trombone), Don Weller (sax), Dave Markee (bass), Jon Hiseman (drums in 6 tracks), Ronnie Verrel (drums), Micky Waller (drums in 1 track, 'I need a woman'), Robin Jones (drums), Skaila Kanga (harp), David Snell (harp). The brass section includes: Barbara Thompson (in 1 song, 'Sentimental blues'), Alan Skidmore, Dave Lawrence, Bud Parker, Harry Beckett and Butch Hudson. The backing vocals are performed by Madeline Bell, Joanne Hilkins and Kay Garner.
