This is the list of the sessions I know Paul Gilbert appears... I've classified them into several categories:

OTHER SESSIONS

Darrell Mansfield This Christian artist (vocalist and harmonicist) was part of the band Gentle Faith, and in 1977, he formed his own Darrell Mansfield Band. In this album, recently remastered on CD, he has Paul Gilbert for his first ever recording, guesting on two tracks. 
Black Sheep This info comes from Janne Stark (thanks a lot!!!): "This was actually a solo-project from Willie Basse, and he thanks Todd DeVito, Paul Carman, Ray Copeland, Kurt James, Paul Gilbert, Jeoy Belfiori, George Lynch... but it doesn't say who was playing on the album. It's just Paul told me Todd was playing drums, George did one solo and he did two. Paul is also on the front-cover."

The album contains mostly songs written by Willie Basse, as well as a rendition of The Supremes' "Stop! In The Name Of Love". One of the songs is co-written by George Lynch. 

Jeff Berlin

My guess is that Paul plays here because of his involvement with GIT, where Jeff Berlin used to teach bass. Berlin, a bass master, someday will have his own page in my Olympus. This solo album contains great work, with an adaptation of a classic piece by Bach, as well as a superb rendition of Robert Johnson's song "Crossroads", very faithful to Cream's rendition, but the bass performing the solo that Clapton used to do on guitar! The guitarist in all the tracks is the great Frank Gambale, but Paul Gilbert appears in two tracks, "Crossroads" and "Freight train shuffle". A fantastic album for fusion lovers. Another musicians in it: Buddy Miles on vocals, Tris Imbodden on drums, and the late Jeff Porcaro on percussion. 

Joey Tafolla Joey Tafolla is a superb guitarist, from the band Jag Panzer. This was his first solo album (as far as I know) and I think Paul must be here because they shared record label and executive producer (Mike Varney). Paul plays solos in 4 songs. Produced by another guitar ace, Tony MacAlpine, it includes Wally Voxx (bass, ex-Rising Force) and Reynold Carlson (drums, ex-Jag Panzer). 
Gregg Bissonette Gregg Bissonette is a great drummer, who has played with David Lee Roth, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. He released this 5-song album as a promo for Pearl drums. Paul plays in the song "The vulgar boatman". The other four tracks feature Scott Henderson (2 tracks), Steve Lukather (1 track) and Michael Thompson (1 track). Gregg and his brother Matt Bissonette (bass) plays on all tracks.

It has been recently released a brand new album by Gregg Bissonette, and Paul Gilbert is in the credits too. I don't have the album, but it seems the only track where Paul Gilbert appears is the same "The vulgar boatman" from the former promo album. Other musicians involved: Scott Henderson, Steve Lukather, Andy Summers, Ty Tabor, Steve Vai, Michael Thompson, George Bernhardt, Doug Bossi and Mike Miller. 

Carmine Appice Carmine Appice is one of the drummers with greatest curriculum. He has played with everybody. So it's not strange that now that he's releasing his own albums, they're full of renowned musicians. He's releasing albums under the "Guitar Zeus" monicker.

Guitar Zeus is the first album, and it contains guest appearance by Paul Gilbert. He plays in one track, as well as in a bonus track present in the European release ("Where you belong"). With the basic band of Carmine Appice (drums), Tony Franklin (bass), Kelly Keeling (vocals, keyboards) + guest guitar soloists: Steve Morse (now in Deep Purple), Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Neal Schon, Brian May, Doug Aldrich, Jennifer Batten (usually playing for Michael Jackson), Ty Tabor, Slash, Ted Nugent, Elliot Easton (from The Cars), Mick Mars, and the great Leslie West.

Guitar Zeus 2 - Channel Mind Radio is his most recent release, and it includes guest appearances by: Denny Laine (in the song 'Cruisin''), Stevie Salas (from his own band Stevie Salas Colorcode), Zakk Wylde (from Ozzy Osbourne band and now, with his own band Pride And Joy), Warren DeMartini (ex-Ratt), Richie Sambora (from Bon Jovi), Stuart Smith, Ted Nugent, Neal Schon (from Journey), C.C. DeVille (from Poison), John Norum, Ty Tabor (from King's X), Dweezil Zappa, Vivian Campbell (from Def Leppard), Kenji Kitajima. Where is Paul? Well, the Japanese version of the album has two bonus tracks, and that's where Paul Gilbert appears, in a track called "Where you belong".

  • He is the guitarist in Japanese heavy metal band Loudness. This solo album contains the collaboration of Paul, playing guitar in the song "Alien summit".

    VV.AA. Paul appears here with some other guitar aces, such as the great Jeff Watson, Vivian Campbell (now in Def Leppard), Leslie West (from Mountain), Elliott Randall (lately, he's playing with Asia), Steve Morse (now in Deep Purple), Jennifer Batten, Blues Saraceno (he was in Poison and with Jack Bruce), Buck Dharma (from seminal band Blue Oyster Cult), Vinnie Moore, plus bassists Billy Sheehan and Randy Coven. He plays a Jeff Beck song from his "There and back" album, 'El Becko'.

    Another guitar-ace collective album. We can find here Reb Beach (from Winger, now with Alice Cooper), Richie Sambora (from Bon Jovi), Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Elliott Easton (from The Cars), Zakk Wylde (from Ozzy Osbourne band, now with own band, Pride & Glory), Nuno Bettencourt (ex-Extreme), Alex Skolnick (ex-Testament and Savatage), Richie Kotzen (ex-Poison), Albert Collins, Dickey Betts & Warren Haynes (from Allman Brothers Band), Reeves Gabrels (ex-Tin Machine), and Earl Slick (accompanied by Terry Bozzio).

    The song Paul performs is called "I understand completely". He plays all the instruments there.

    A Deep Purple tribute. I love this album, it's fantastic from start to finish. Great musicians involved here:

    Singers: Kelly Keeling, Kip Winger, Glenn Hughes, Joe Lynn Turner, Robert Mason, Don Dokken, Jeff Scott Soto, Tony Harnell.

    Guitarists: Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine, John Norum, Richie Kotzen, Paul Gilbert, Russ Parrish, Reb Beach, Mike Varney, Vinnie Moore

    The rhythm section in every track is: Russ Parrish (rhythm guitar), Todd Jensen (bass), the superb Jens Johansson (keyboards. Hi, Jens!), and Deen Castronovo (drums).

    Paul Gilbert performs one track, "Maybe I'm a leo", singing and playing lead guitar:

    His track is very good. Another one of my favourites are the works by the great ones Jeff Scott Soto (vocals on "Hush"), and the work of Reb Beach (incredible guitar on "Fireball) and John Norum (guitar on "Stormbringer"). A must, if you like Deep Purple.

    WOW! Jeff Beck is worshipped by lots of guitarists, as we can notice here. Guitar players to appear: Bruce Bouillet (once he was Paul colleague in Racer X), Vivian Campbell & Phil Collen (from Def Leppard), Warren DeMartini (ex-Ratt, and later in Whitesnake), Amir Derakh (from Rough Cutt), Jake E. Lee (from Badlands), Steve Lukather (from Toto), George Lynch (from Dokken), Mick Mars (from Motley Crue), Stevie Salas (from own band Stevie Salas Colorcode), Walter Trout (from ?), plus Paul Gilbert. Superb backing musicians in the tracks: Russ Parrish (bass here), Brett Tugle (keyboards), Tony Franklin (bass), Guy Mann-Dude, Billy Sherwood (keyboards), and singers: Paul Shortino, Sass Jordan, Dante Marchi, John Corabi (now in a new band with Kiss fired members, called Union).

    Paul Gilbert performs in one track, "Heart full of soul", with this lineup:

    It's a shame, but I must say that Paul's track is not among the best ones in this great album. Maybe he chose a wrong track, too poppy.

    My favourite guitar work in the album is performed by Amir Derakh, Vivian Campbell, Steve Lukather and Jake E. Lee.

    VV.AA. A great tribute to a great personality! Alice Cooper is a legend among fans and musicians. This tribute album, conceived by the great Bob Kulick, contains collaborations by Joe Elliott & Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Dave Mustaine & Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Bruce Dickinson & Adrian Smith (both in Iron Maiden again), Don Dokken, John Norum, Steve Jones, Duff McKagan & Matt Sorum (both, ex-Guns n' Roses), Ronnie James Dio, Steve Lukather, Phil Lewis, George Lynch, Dee Snider, Zakk Wilde, Roger Daltrey & Slash. Paul Gilbert plays in the track 'Only women bleed' (sung by Glenn Hughes). 
    SESSIONS AS A PRODUCER

    The Szuters The Szuters are a band from Chardon, Cleveland, Ohio. CJ and Mike are brothers and have been doing the 'band thing' for almost 10 years! They started playing in clubs around Cleveland and Akron area, such as the Agora, Peabodys, the Odeon, and Akron Agora. Mike is well know in this area for his guitar playing and song writing skills. CJ also... both brothers are well rounded musically and vocally. Mike does most of the song writing.. although CJ does his fair share. The lineup is: Mike Szuter, CJ Szuter, Tony Santoro and Johnny Fresh.

    Their first CD, released in Japan, was titled The Szuters... and Paul produced it.. He also did 3 songs on the latest CD American Pop. Mike Szuter is now on tour as a member of Paul Gilbert band, playing guitars and keyboards.
