Do you have a girl friend at the moment?

Hi Tone, at the moment now I`m single. I spend most of my
time travelling, which makes it really difficult to have a
steady relationship.

Yeah, Petter, I`ve been playing the guitar since I was 11,
and you can hear my playing on my record.

Great music

How do you manage to create the great music you are
creating at the moment. By the way, I am your greatest fan.

Most of the songs on my new record I wrote over the last two
years, while on tour. Thanks for the compliment, and thanks
for being my greatest fan!

Tatto-man

Did it hurt to get that tatoo of your, "Tatoo-man"?

I`m not quite sure which tattoo you`re reffering to, but
they all hurt a little bit. But in a good way.

Cruel man

Why did you push Donna down the stairs you cruel man?

Marius, it`s important to remember that the character Ray
Pruit is only a character. I have no control over the way
that the writers of the show choose to portrait him.
One of the main reasons that I`m taking a break from "90210"
is because I don`t want people to get confused between Ray
and Jamie Walters. Thanks.

got enough for a third album. When we play live, I usually
add some of my new songs to the set, to see how the audience

1. Are you going to have a concert here in Norway soon???
2. I met you in Oslo last time you were here, and besides
getting your autographe, I took a lot of pictures. The sad
part is that all of the pictures turned out black!! Do you
think that it would be possible for me to meet you in Oslo
this time and retake the pictures??

Hi, Nina, I hope to be able to come here this summer and
play a concert. It all depends on how my record does.
I`m sorry that your pictures didn`t turn out, I wish I could
take them over with you, but unfortunately I`m not going
to be here very long. Come see me next time, and we`ll make
sure that your camera is working.

Hi Frode, I have three dogs, and they`re all Rottweilers.
But I love lots of different kinds, and hope to have a
bigger yard some day, so I can get more dogs.

Why don't you sing about something else than love?

Check out my new album! There are songs that have to do
with other topics. It`s true that a lot of my songs are
about relationships, only because I think it`s something
people can understand and identify with.

Hello Jamie.How woould you describe your general state of
mind when you write your songs?

Most of my songs tend to have a melancholy feeling to them.
But I always try to include some sense of hope.

Any connection between

1. Do you believe you would have sold any records if
you had not been blessed with the aid of being a
character starring in "90210" ?
2. Pretending you don't know yourself, and never had
watched any of the series - would YOU had gone
to a local music store to buy a copy of your own cd ?
3. Are you a better musician than Brian Austin Green ?
(I came over some rumors saying he was trying to kick
off his own career, but it hasn't really killed yet,
has it ??!)

Hi Artemis, naturally all the exposure I got from "90210"
helped to sell some records. But I had a nr. 1 song in the
USA before I ever got on "90210". So I know that there were
fans of my music before my television appearances.

Brian and I play completely different forms of music, so I
can`t compare myself to him as a musician.

Hello Jamie!
It is quite unusual that a boy in my age is a big fan of
you, but, i am wondering: When did you relise that you were
famous?

I still have a hard time admitting to myself that I`m
"famous", but it`s something I`m tring to come to terms with.

But I would love to see you perform, how come you only come
to Oslo? You should come to Trondheim too...Norway is a big
country, you know!

Thanks for the compliment, I`m glad you enjoy my music, and
I`m sorry that I haven`t had a chance to get to Trondheim.
Hopefully one day I`ll have more time to see the rest of
Norway.

Hi Jamie!
Do you think Willie Nelson should retire??

I listened to a lot of Willy Nelson growing up, my father was
a big fan. As to wether he should retire or not, I can`t say.
But I think after all his tax problems, he needs to make more
money.

Future kids

-If your kid came up to you and said: dad, i want to be a rockstar, how
would you react?

It's an interesting question, some times I think that this
lifestyle is terrible. But other times I feel fortunate to
be able to have I job that I truly enjoy, so I have no idea
what I would tell my kid.

I have a Ford pickup truck, and two Chevys.

How did you like being in a popular serie like 90210?

I had a great time working on the show, but I really enjoy
travelling and playing music more. So that's what I'm concentrating
on this year.

Do you ever feel tempted to get involved with a fan?
I mean, there`s so many girls out there just dying to do
anything to be your girlfriend!

I,ve nothing against getting to know my fans, but unfortunately
I'm never in any one place long enough to get to know anybody.

How do you write your music?

How do you write your music? Do you write the lyrics first or what?

I write most of my songs on the acoustic guitar, starting with
music first, then adding lyrics. Thanks.

VACATION

WHERE DID YOU GO ON YOUR LATEST VACATION?

The last two years I had one week off. I took a road trip
to Santa Fe in New Mexico, and I had a great time.

I like them both. But I prefer playing clubs because the
atmosphere is more intimate and I can acctually see the
audience. Thanks.

The worst thing...

What's the worst thing you have ever
done to one of your friends?

I like to think I`m a pretty good person, but I have lost
touch with some of my friends, and I feel guilty about it.

Cotton stick....

Have you ever forgotten a cotton stick in your ear?

No, I haven`t, but I have thought about it many times. I
knew a girl in high school who forgot she had a cotton stick
in her ear, and got the cotton stick so far into her head
that she lost her hearing. Be careful!

I have a feeling that most "famous" people kinda loose
contact with the real world. It seems like you try to stay
"human", is that consciosly (sorry, I dont have a dictionary
here) or is it just the way you are? Do yot have to make an
effort?

I think one of my best qualities is that I`ve been able to
keep my feet on the ground. A lot of that has to do with my
friends who`ve known me since before I got into the
entertainment business, and they definitely keep me in
check.

and you just have to make the most out of your own.

Yes, it was a long time ago, I think I was ten. The girl was
two years older than me, and I think she kissed me, as
opposed to me kissing her.

How is it to live in America ??Where do you recomed me to
go and what to visit when I'm going for a vacation there??

America is a huge country, with too many great sites.
I personally would check out New York city and some of the
national parks on the west coast.
