Leaning

Ok, whats all this leaning then? I know what (which?) curtains go with what colour walls 'cos Jennifer tells me, so there. I can't lean because the centre of gravity is out of line with the perpendicular..... There is talk of me becoming the "Fat Controller". Leaning, as far as Freddie was concerned, wasn't reaaly the right word. Freddie used to lounge a bit, mind you one can't "lounge towards gayness" can one. I'm reminded of his riposte to Tony Pike when he leaned (Ooooh its that word again) over the balcony at Pikes and uttered words to the effect of "Awfully low ceilings - only joking". This puts my case for him being the art and fashion critic the Sun into some perspective, even then he had leanings towards being a design guru. He might, though, have been thinking of the tall, clogged one, whose definitely a fashion icon and who might not have fitted to easily into the somewhat small, Balieric, rooms. When we went to Pikes it was easy to imagine Freddie there, it seemed to suit the style that we all perceive he had, but, somehow, it doesn't seem to fit too well with the others. John, for instance, would have an awful lot of trouble finding eight sun loungers, let alone eight towels - mind you given the trouble that the Austrian Doctor got into last week in Tennerife, I am not sure that he would want to. Roger's boat wouldn't fit into the pool (its about 8 km from the harbour at Ibiza) and the nearest observatory would appear to be on Mount Tiede, so Brian would have to look at the other stars (George Michael & Wham etc). Given that it is the summer (soon, the weathermen promise) I wonder how many of you will be going to Ibiza? If you are, PIkes is definitely worth a visit, but take the platinum card, or at least a bag full of potatoes. BTW Gaz, what colour are your curtains (if its not to personal a question)? And why aren't you smiling anymore - its one of your more endearing traits? TTFN
