Deathpoem's Bodyart Index
Body modification has been a cultured right-of-passage since the beginnning of time. However, more recently, it has taken on an entirely new meaning. Instead of being revered as a step either into adolescence or for other ceremonial circumstances, it has become as commonplace as
"Oooh look! The Piercing Pagoda, let's go get our ears punctured!"
This is all not to say that I disagree with its commonality, instead, I think that the availability of body modification is rather a step forward in the upward cycle of tolerance. Even so, sometimes I am startled at the results.
I am offering this index as a sort of stepping stone and information vortex to those who are nudging around an idea of acquiring their own pierced part or tattoo. I'll also introduce few new techniques out there for those who have exhausted their wants of silver rings and painted dragons. I know it won't be the most extensive out there, but I do hope to have links to most of the better collections.
