I can already hear you all groaning...
"Oh great, just what we need....yet another Goth page!"
(except that you probably wouldn't have used an exclamation point being that it would have expressed some emotion other than sorrow and angst)
just kidding

See, that's just what I'm getting at.....a stereotypical view of the Gothic Culture is one of teeny-bopper girls and boys worshiping satan and hoping that one day, they will either kill themselves in a romantic sort of setup, or be killed in a romantic sort of setup, all the while moping around, wearing all black, and collecting dead roses.........


But we know better....right? If you don't actually have a clue to what the hell I'm talking about, there are several rather decent and several rather disastrous FAQ's that explain what the gothic culture is all about. If you'd like to check them out, they've been rated from the best to the worst and most hilarious (in my and several other persons') opinion...for whatever that's worth.

^^^In addition, I'd like to add my two cents about the recent shootings in Colorado. The shootings had NOTHING to do with the gothic sub-culture. Music DOES NOT make you go out and want to kill, maim, injure, abuse, nor anything of that ilk. Clothing DOES NOT make you do any of the above either. For those that would choose to believe that listening to rock, metal, gothic, or industrial music also relates to a lack of education, for the most part, Goths tend to be quite literate persons. Not only does the sub-culture embrace literature, but also history and a diversity of music. It's rather ridiculous to draw those correlations between insanity and music or dress. There are bad eggs in every pod of people and unless we stop our tolerance to such hate crimes as well as our acceptance of weapons in our society, no sub-culture of humanity will be safe. We need to go back to dialog to save ourselves. Without our ability to communicate in a civil manner..what have we left?
...apparently, not much.^^^

However, if you need someone giving you step-by-step instructions on how to achieve their supposed level of gothiness...well, you've goth more problems than finding a big enough supply of kohl.
