    COMMENTS:
  • Valued at $10-15.
  • This LP is considered their worst by the Ramones themselves.
  • This LP is much better than it would seem. Songs like "Do You Remember Rock 'N' Roll Radio?" and "I'm Affected" are pop/punk madness, with a Spectoresque flair. The absolute best track on the record is the brilliant "Danny Says", which starts off quietly and proceeds to explode into a Wall of Sound which seems on the same scale as some classic Spector productions.
  • "Rock 'N' Roll High School" was from the cult film of the same name in which the Ramones starred. The mix from this LP and that on the soundtrack (Sire #QSR 6070) and single (Sire #SRE 1051) are different in that the latter mix has no crowd sounds and no explosion at the end.
  • It may be just because I was watching it around midnight, but I could've sworn I saw Phil Spector driving the Ramones' car in the film "Rock 'N' Roll High School"! Does anyone know if this is true or not?
