COMMENTS: |
Valued at $15-20.
Spector's first collaboration with Lennon (post-Beatles) found his talents of something of a waste. John Lennon Plastic Ono Band is one of the most sparse, stark, harrowing LPs ever recorded, and Spector's grandiose production is kept on a very tight leash. Check out his beautiful piano part on "Love" though.
Billy Preston and Ringo Starr play piano and drums, respectively, on this LP.
