American Cancer SocietyCancer has claimed George Harrison, Linda McCartney, Maureen Starkey, Derek Taylor...and it continues to kill millions of people each year. This horrible disease must be stopped. If you have been thinking about doing something in George's's honor, here's one good place to start.

Elimination of hunger and poverty has long been a cause in which the Beatles have been involved...from George's organization of The Concert for Bangla Desh to Paul's particiaption in Live Aid. Center to Prevent Handgun ViolenceIt's bad enough that a handgun, owned by someone who had no business owning one, robbed John Lennon of his life. Now, handgun control is needed more than ever, as even children are being murdered in schools by other children carrying guns. Wherever you may stand on the issue of hunting, the right to bear arms, etc., it is clear that too many people have access to guns who cannot handle them responsibly and thus, SHOULD NOT HAVE THEM. Help stop the insanity.







Clear LandminesLandmines kill and mutilate 26,000 people each year, most of these in the poorest countries on earth. Paul and Heather have been working to have them removed. Now you can too by clicking on the banner to the left. Doing so, will make a free donation toward landmine removal.






People for the Ethical Treatment of AnimalsAs Paul has said, perhaps the best tribute you could pay to Linda is to "go veggie." Paul and Linda have been outspoken vegetarians and animal-rights activists for many years. PETA is one of the leading organizations for these causes in the world, and a great place for information on becoming vegetarian and advocating for animal rights. Peace on earth applies to animals as well.
