It all started back in 1981 when we got involved in the whole punk/metal/hardcore movement.

First ve started doing some fanzines and putting out some compilation tapes.

But in 1985, we started our first hardcore/noise-bands, influenced (both musically and lyrically) by bands such as NEOS, REVENGE OF THE WHORES, BOOM AND THE LEGION OF DOOM, SVART PARAD and more bands like this. Later on, ve took up the name AGATHOCLES and since today. we are stîll active under this name.

During the years, we have had tons of line up changes, but right now, we think ve have found a good one, based on frîendship and understanding.

We have done lots of records, we've played about 400 gigs in countries such as Tschechia, France, Slovakia, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Spain and Italy.

We've reached an own style, but we still like to mention the following bands who have had an impact on us: MAN IS THE BASTARD. REGURGITATE. CARCASS GRINDER, TWO MOONS RISING. CONFUSE, EUROPES ARSE, D,O.C., LARM, SEA MONKEYS, UNHOLY GRAVE, DAHMER...

Our lyrics deal with all the shit that can happen and is happening on this fucked up world. They are written in a cynical, sarcastic and pessimistic way, along with the poems we use.
